Happy Valentines Day to all my friends.  To celebrate the occasion, here is a collage of tulips from Elizabeth Park I photographed & combined into a collage afterwards.  They are not actually flying (unless you consider the hearts are flying off the page!)

Digging out from all the Connecticut snow!!

Scowling ice covered Bluejay

 Alot of digging out of three feet of snow and snow piles as high as the houses, roofs caving in, "Snowaggedon" this month it's  been called by some.  A month where the CT songbirds are even more grateful than usual for a bite to eat.  Here are a few who stopped by the feeder yesterday to have a bite.  Surprisingly few "squabbles" except for a housefinch or two having a turf war over the best birdfeeder spot.
